Full job description

General Builder Wanted

We are looking for a reliable and experienced General Builder to join our team. The successful candidate will carry out a variety of construction and maintenance tasks on residential and commercial projects while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities

General building, repair, and maintenance work.
Bricklaying, blockwork, plastering, and basic carpentry.
Groundworks, paving, and concrete work.
Roofing repairs and general property maintenance.
Reading and following plans and specifications.
Operating hand and power tools safely.
Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
Working independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

Proven experience as a general builder or in a similar construction role.
Good knowledge of construction methods and materials.
Ability to use a wide range of tools and equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Full driving licence essential
Relevant CSCS card or construction qualifications are an advantage.
