Join Our Team as Front of House Security.

Are you a dedicated professional with a passion for creating a safe and welcoming environment? We are seeking a highly motivated Front of House Security officer to join our dynamic team at a prestigious student accommodation facility. As the first point of contact for residents and visitors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safety and providing exceptional service.

Position: Front of House Security
Location: James Street, York. YO10 3WW
Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Safety and Security: Monitor entrances and exits, conduct regular patrols, and ensure compliance with safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for all residents.
Visitor Management: Greet and assist visitors and residents, ensuring they feel welcome and well-informed.
Emergency Response: Act promptly and efficiently in emergencies, coordinating with local authorities and following established protocols.
Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts professionally, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.
Access Control: Manage access to the building, verifying identification, and ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional service, assisting residents with inquiries and maintaining a friendly and approachable atmosphere.

Requirements:

Experience: Previous experience in security or a similar role is preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
Problem-Solving: Quick-thinking with the ability to handle stressful situations and make informed decisions.
Certifications: A valid security license and first aid certification is desirable.
Availability: Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends.
