Full job description

Job Summary

12 hours spread over Friday and Saturday nights .We are looking for someone to join our team as a Bar Staff member, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, mixing and serving drinks with precision, and maintaining a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and uphold safety standards will ensure our patrons enjoy a safe and enjoyable environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while contributing to a fun and fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and foster a welcoming environment.
Take orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle cash or card transactions efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering strictly to safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Restock bar supplies regularly to ensure all ingredients and tools are available for service.
Monitor guest behavior responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws and promoting responsible drinking.
Collaborate with team members to manage busy periods smoothly while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
Knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and serving standards.
Strong understanding of safety practices and hygiene regulations.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
Ability to communicate clearly with team members and guests in a lively setting.
A positive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
