About Us

Stadium MK is a 30,530-seat multi-purpose venue in Milton Keynes, home to MK Dons Football Club. Since opening in 2007, the stadium has become a leading destination for sport, events, and hospitality.

The site also includes the DoubleTree by Hilton Milton Keynes, a 304-bedroom hotel, and Arena MK, a versatile space hosting conferences, exhibitions, and live events. Together, these facilities create a dynamic and fast-paced environment offering a wide range of experiences for guests and clients alike.

The Role

We are seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of cleaning operations within a busy stadium and events environment. The successful candidate will assist the Cleaning Manager in supervising staff, maintaining high cleaning standards, and ensuring the smooth delivery of cleaning services during daily operations, matches, and events. The role will also deputise in the absence of the Cleaning Manager when required.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist the Cleaning Manager with daily cleaning operations

· Supervise staff and ensure duties are completed to a high standard

· Deliver planned cleaning programmes within agreed timescales

· Support match day and event cleaning requirements

· Complete day-to-day administration duties within the department

· Manage staff training records and support ongoing development

· Monitor stock levels of cleaning chemicals and consumables

· Ensure the safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals

· Respond professionally to staff, customer, and guest enquiries

· Support compliance with Health & Safety and company procedures

· Assist with maintaining departmental budgets

· Provide leadership and support to the cleaning team

Role Demands

· Ability to lead a team and work on own initiative

· Strong communication and organisational skills

· Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure

· Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, matches, and events

· Commitment to delivering high standards of work and customer service

· The role involves long periods of walking, heavy lifting, and physical work. Reasonable adjustments will be considered where necessary

About You

· Previous experience in a supervisory cleaning role

· Able to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment

· Confident working independently and making day-to-day decisions

· Reliable, organised, and committed to maintaining high standards

· Calm and efficient under pressure with a flexible approach to work

· Strong communication and customer service skills

· Polite, professional, and approachable manner

· Good understanding of Health & Safety and safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals

· Flexible to work evenings, weekends, matches, and event days

· Adaptable to different situations and operational demands

Pay: £26,999.00 per year
