Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Plumber to join our team in <LOCATION>. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and practical skills to carry out a variety of plumbing tasks across both commercial and residential settings. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to high-quality service delivery, ensuring all plumbing systems are installed, maintained, and repaired efficiently and safely.

Duties

Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks accurately.
Conducting inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions.
Performing heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required for installation or repair work.
Applying basic maths for measurements, calculations, and layout planning.
Assisting with assembly of plumbing components and related mechanical systems.
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Maintaining detailed records of work performed and materials used.
Driving company vehicles for site visits when necessary, subject to valid commercial driving licence.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a qualified plumber with relevant certifications recognised in the UK.
Proficiency in welding, use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and installation procedures.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on site.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise work.
Experience with carpentry is advantageous but not essential.
Valid commercial driving licence preferred for site visits or transportation needs.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to plumbing work in various environments.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to delivering quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards. Candidates should demonstrate versatility across multiple technical skills including welding, use of hand tools, mechanical understanding, and physical endurance for heavy lifting tasks.

Pay: £45.00-£65.00 per hour
