Registered Nurse – Haviland House

Worthing, West Sussex

At Haviland House, Guild Care’s dedicated home for people living with dementia, you’ll support people living with dementia to feel safe, comfortable and valued every day.

Bank hours
Shifts: 08:00-14:00, 08:00-20:00, 14:00-20:00, 20:00-08:00

Pay Rates

£26.99 per hour (Monday–Friday)
£29.69 per hour (Saturday & Sunday)

About The Role

About the Role

Deliver person‑centred nursing care overnight
Guide and coordinate the night team to ensure smooth, consistent care
Support residents living with dementia with dignity, comfort, and respect
Communicate effectively with families and external professionals
Maintain accurate records and uphold regulatory standards
Take responsibility for the overall running of the home during night shifts

What We’re Looking For

Registered Nurse (RGN) - registered with the NMC
Calm, confident, and compassionate approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to oversee others
Previous experience in a role involving team coordination or supervision
A commitment to delivering exceptional dementia‑focused care
Someone who thrives when entrusted with responsibility

Guild Care was founded in Worthing in 1933 by visionary volunteers dedicated to supporting vulnerable individuals in the local community. Originally known as Worthing Council of Social Service, the organisation focused on alleviating poverty, isolation, and health challenges during difficult times. In the 1950s and 1960s, Guild Care established innovative day centres and residential care homes, significantly enhancing life quality for older adults and individuals with disabilities. Today, Guild Care supports over 3,000 people annually across West Sussex through a range of community-focused services.
