Full job description

This is a multi-functional warehouse position which requires working in a busy distribution facility. Due to the nature of the role the primary tasks will be using an in-house computer system and general warehouse duties. Good computer skills are essential. There will also be an element of counterbalance forklift driving.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for the accurate fulfilment of orders from goods in and stock replenishment through to picking and packing.
Be willing to maintain a clean and safe workstation
Be willing to undertake some manual handling, bending and reaching as part of your normal duties.
General housekeeping duties
Clean as you go
Processing returns and goods inwards
Picking, packing and labelling orders for despatch with accuracy and without delay
Receiving and unloading deliveries
Checking, sorting and putting away deliveries
Using computerised systems to book stock/courier collections

Forklift Responsibilities:

Supporting the current forklift team
Loading and unloading vehicles
Moving products and pallets around the site
Manoeuvring around tight spaces on the site
Upkeep of maintenance records

Key Skills:

Excellent communication skills
Positive attitude and approach to role and team at all times
The ability to work in a team and contribute positively to its activities.
Picking, packing & despatch experience.

General:

All enquiries should be handled promptly and accurately.
Any other tasks which can reasonable be performed as requested by your line manager
