Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Locker Assembly Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling lockers, storage units, and associated components to a high standard. This role involves hands‑on assembly work, use of tools, and ensuring all products meet quality and safety requirements before dispatch or installation.

Key Responsibilities

Assembling lockers, cabinets, and storage units according to drawings, instructions, and build specifications
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively (e.g., drills, riveters, screwdrivers)
Fit hinges, locks, shelves, panels, and hardware components
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
Report any defects, shortages, or assembly issues to the supervisor
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Always follow all health and safety procedures
Work collaboratively with production, stores, and quality teams

Requirements

Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar hands‑on role preferred but not essential.
Ability to read basic drawings or assembly instructions
Confident using hand and power tools
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable Skills

General Handyman Skills / joinery, or fabrication
good all-round DIY.
