Full job description

Experienced General Labourer /Groundworker

Experienced General Labourer/Groundworker required for a local fencing contractor - we are just up the valley from Newport, Gwent.

Rates of pay negotiable - dependent on skills and age - but typically £13.00 per hour/slightly above minimum wage.

45 hour week - full time - 9 hours per day. Monday to Friday. Start time 7.30am. Finish usually at 5.30pm.

You will need to be able to drive, hold a current FULL licence and have your own transport - due to our location - we are not near public transport. You may be required to drive a works vehicle if needed.

Please only apply if you genuinely have OUTDOOR labouring experience and are looking for a job - no time wasters please. This job is manual "hands on" - and is outside in all weathers.

You must have the correct documentation to work in the UK.

Start as soon as possible.
