Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organised General Farm Shop Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing stock, and ensuring the smooth operation of our farm shop. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a passion for delivering a positive shopping experience. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop retail skills within a welcoming environment.

Duties

Greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their purchases
Managing stock levels, including replenishing shelves and organising displays
Providing product information and answering customer queries effectively
Handling cash transactions accurately and processing card payments
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the shop floor
Supporting the team in daily shop operations and ensuring excellent customer service standards are met

Qualifications

Fluency in English
Strong communication skills
Basic maths skills for handling cash and transactions accurately
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
Experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Organised with good attention to detail, especially in merchandising and stock management
