Job Overview

We are seeking a versatile and reliable Handyman/woman/Labourer to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of construction tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set in building trades, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your practical skills in a dynamic environment, contributing to the upkeep and improvement of various properties and structures.

Responsibilities

Carry out general repairs and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
Undertake roofing repairs and installation as required.
Perform construction painting and masonry work to specification.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
Assist with site preparation, clean-up, and organisation of materials.
Fabricate or modify components as needed for ongoing projects.
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members or clients to complete projects efficiently and to standard.

Skills

Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, or electrical work is highly desirable.
Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
Ability to perform fabrication tasks with precision.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Good problem-solving skills and adaptability across various trades.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and clients professionally.
Physical fitness to handle manual labour tasks safely and efficiently.
