Full job description

As the first point of contact for members and guests, this a role that combines both Pilates Instructor and Front of House responsibilities at a 5-star fitness facility, the professional would serve as a core member of both the fitness and client-facing teams. This dual role merges teaching expertise with hospitality, offering clients a seamless and welcoming experience from the moment they enter to the end of their Pilates class.

Key Responsibilities (Pilates):

Design and lead engaging, safe, and effective Pilates classes for all skill levels, ensuring client satisfaction and safety.
Provide personalized guidance, adjustments, and modifications to meet individual needs and abilities.
Demonstrate a deep knowledge of Pilates principles, techniques, and benefits, fostering an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.
Ensure a clean and serene studio environment, maintaining equipment and upholding gym policies.
Stay current with Pilates trends and certifications to deliver innovative and inspiring classes.
Build strong client relationships, offering recommendations for complementary services.

Key Responsibilities (Front of House):

Customer Service:

Greet all members and guests warmly upon arrival and provide personalized assistance as needed.
Always maintain a polished and professional demeanour.
Address inquiries about membership options, facility amenities, and class schedules.
Handle complaints or concerns promptly, escalating to management when necessary.

Reception Duties:

Manage the front desk, including answering phones and responding to emails professionally and efficiently.
Schedule appointments for personal trainers, spa services, or other facility offerings.
Process payments for coaching, food & beverage and other various services.

Facility Coordination:

Keep the reception area immaculate and fully stocked.
Monitor member feedback and collaborate with other departments to enhance the client experience.
Assist in organizing member events and promotional activities.

Administrative Support:

Maintain accurate records in the facility’s management system, including membership data and appointment logs.
Generate daily reports on facility usage, bookings, and sales transactions.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments, such as the onsite management team, concierge, housekeeping and maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate effectively with management to relay updates, concerns, or suggestions.

Shifts

- Every Tuesday 6.30am - 12pm
- Every Friday 3-9pm
- Every other weekend (Shift varies)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £16.67 per hour
