Overview

Mon-Fri 6pm-8.00pm
Join our dynamic team as a part-time Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a pristine, safe, and welcoming environment. This energetic position offers you the opportunity to contribute to the cleanliness and upkeep of various facilities, ensuring they meet high standards of hygiene and appearance. Whether you're experienced in janitorial work or eager to develop your custodial skills, this role provides a rewarding chance to make a tangible difference every day.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including working areas, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and other floor care techniques to ensure a spotless finish
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and trash liners to keep facilities well-equipped
Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention and promptly address any cleanliness issues
Handle industrial cleaning tasks when required, including cleaning machinery or specialized equipment
Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting to support overall facility upkeep
Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe environment for all staff and visitors

Skills

Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with knowledge of commercial and residential cleaning standards
Skilled in floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing surfaces
Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and facilities maintenance practices
Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly
