Job Title: Qualified Dental Nurse
Location: 80 Salisbury Street, Blandford Forum DT11 7PS
Practice: Alaska House Dental Practice
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Alaska House Dental Practice is a modern, patient-focused private dental clinic located in the heart of Blandford Forum. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality dentistry in a calm, friendly, and professional environment. Our team is supportive, forward-thinking, and committed to continuous development, with a strong focus on implants, root canals and advanced treatments.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Dental Nurse to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified nurse, looking to take the next step and progress in their dental nursing career within a high-quality private practice.

Key Responsibilities

Chairside assistance across a range of dental procedures, including implants
Preparation and maintenance of clinical areas to a high standard
Ensuring compliance with CQC and cross-infection control protocols
Supporting clinicians during complex treatments
Stock control and surgery management
Supporting and working as a team
Maintaining accurate patient records
Assisting with reception duties when needed, including:
Greeting and checking in patients
Answering phone calls and managing enquiries
Booking and managing appointments
Processing payments and handling administrative tasks

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse (GDC registered)
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A positive, team-oriented attitude
