The Role

22.2 hours per week.

You will be joining a committed team of practitioners within a curriculum area that benefits from large student numbers. The team are committed and driven to ensure the best experiences are given to the learners through innovative teaching and learning in a well - resourced College

The post will involve the marketing, delivery and assessment of a range of courses across the curriculum in the area of Public Services Level 3 Diploma & Level 3 National Extended Diploma for entry level uniform services. Course Leadership and internal verification responsibilities will also be involved in the job role.

Main Duties for this role include

To plan teaching, learning and assessment for college programmes using the appropriate college format to ensure effective learning.
To deliver teaching and learning to at least a consistently good or outstanding standard to achieve high success rates.
To assess accurately learners, work both formatively and summative against appropriate awarding body criteria to ensure learners achieve their qualifications.
To comply with all college quality assurance procedures as prescribed by the Deputy Principal to ensure the achievement of all internal and external audits.
Thoroughly prepare suitable teaching, learning and assessment materials for a range of courses/classes and make use of a variety and appropriate learning and teaching methods.
Have available an up-to-date syllabus and scheme of work (showing methods of delivery and embedded cross-cutting themes) for each course/class taught.
