About Us

Sky Drinks Group is a leading drinks manufacturing company with customers including major UK retailers Marks & Spencer and Aldi, and we’re further developing our manufacturing operations with a focus on reliability, standards, and teamwork.

The Job

The Production & Quality Operator is a key member of the Production Team, responsible for operating production line machinery, product testing and making key decisions which impact the product quality, legality, integrity and food safety. You will maintain the highest possible standards and support the smooth, safe and efficient running of the production lines.

4 x 12 hour shifts per week (inc days / nights)

What you'll do

Operate production equipment, such as fillers, labellers, packaging machines, and conveyors
Monitor production and quality standards during operation
Conduct laboratory tests accurately to procedure and keep records of results.
Identify any product defects / faults and provide solutions to any problems which may arise and effectively communicate to the wider team.
Assist with changeovers, cleaning, and routine maintenance tasks
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and health & safety requirements
Identify issues or risks and escalate them promptly to Shift Lead or Supervisor
Work collaboratively with the wider production, maintenance, and quality teams
Monitor process operations and verify that key parameters and critical control points are operating within acceptable safe limits.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area

What you need

Positive, proactive, and reliable attitude
Attention to detail and focus on standards
Team player with good communication skills
A willingness to learn new production processes and roles
Ability to follow instructions and work to procedures
Attention to detail when carrying out important, detailed, repetitive tasks.

What we'd like

Experience on fillers, labellers, packaging machines, or FLT operations
Previous production line experience in food or beverage manufacturing
Awareness of GMP, food safety, or hygiene practices
Quality roles or similar experience working within the food industry (beverage industry is desirable but not essential).
To make confident risk-based decisions in a fast-paced environment

In-house FLT license if required
