Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the ability to provide excellent care for dogs of various sizes and temperaments. This role involves ensuring the safety and well-being of the dogs while providing them with regular exercise and companionship during their walks.

Responsibilities

Walk dogs in various weather conditions, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and social interaction.
Monitor the behaviour and health of each dog, reporting any concerns to the owner or relevant personnel.
Provide basic animal care, including feeding, grooming, and administering medication if required.
Maintain a clean environment by picking up after the dogs during walks.
Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates on their dog's behaviour and well-being.
Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as carrying equipment or assisting larger breeds.

Qualifications

Previous Dog experience is highly desirable but not essential.
Strong background in animal care, demonstrating a genuine love for pets.
Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with pet owners.
Ability to manage multiple dogs at once while ensuring their safety and comfort.
Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and walk for extended periods.
A valid driving licence may be beneficial for transporting dogs if required. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being outdoors and working with animals in a dynamic environment. If you have a passion for pets and are committed to providing exceptional care, we encourage you to apply!
