Job Title: Arborist Climber

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Job description:

We are seeking an experienced Arborist Climber to join our team and drive the execution of our tree services, landscaping, fencing and garden maintenance operations. As the Arborist Climber, you will be responsible for ensuring site compliance safety procedures are followed whilst undergoing; climbing, aerial rescue, rigging, groundworks and all other aspects of tree services. You will also be responsible for ensuring garden maintenance, landscaping and fencing projects are completed efficiently and to a very high standard. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise with arborist skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to maintaining the beauty and safety of outdoor spaces, domestic gardens and commercial sites.

Duties

· Execute climbing, pruning, delimbing, dismantling, rigging and aerial rescue operations ensuring all safety standards are strictly adhered to.

· Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning, trimming, planting, mowing and site clearance using appropriate tools and techniques.

· Operate mechanical equipment including woodchippers, stump grinders, excavators, tractors and power tools to assist with all daily tasks.

· Conduct routine inspections of climbing gear, ladders, ropes, hand tools and power tools to ensure proper maintenance and safe operation.

· Assist with fencing construction projects or performing minor repairs as needed.

· Collaborate with your management and your team to execute projects efficiently.

Skills

Extensive experience in tree surgery, climbing and aerial rescue.
Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of tree services equipment such as chainsaws, top handle chainsaws, pole saws, hedge cutters, blowers and climbing kits.
Proficiency with hand tools used in garden services, general landscape work and fencing.
Strong team worker skills with the ability to motivate a team and work efficiently at any given task.
Excellent communication skills to always maintain safety standards on the job.

CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39, Woodchipper and Stump Grinder tickets
Full Uk Driving License
Confident driver with towing experience

Not Essential but Preferred:

Excavator driving ticket or experience
Tractor driving experience
