Domestic/Laundry Assistant

Dovehaven Grove, Bamber Bridge

24 hours per week – 9am–3pm shifts – rota basis with alternate weekend availability required

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Domestic Assistant, you’ll play an important role in ensuring residents enjoy a clean, safe, and comfortable environment every day.

This includes:

Following daily cleaning schedules throughout the home
Hoovering, dusting, polishing, and mopping floors
Shampooing carpets and maintaining communal areas
Supporting high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Assisting with laundry duties including washing, drying, and ironing
Ensuring clothing and bedding are labelled and cared for correctly
Working closely with colleagues to maintain a welcoming environment
Supporting residents with kindness, dignity, and respect

Skills & Experience

Ideal candidates will have:

Previous domestic or housekeeping experience
An understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards
Good organisational and time management skills
The ability to work efficiently and use initiative
A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
