Full job description

The Role:

We are looking to recruit a full-time Operative to join the Finishing Team on a temporary contract. You will be responsible for cross cutting the product before it is packed. You will quality check finished products and fold and inspect the product as part of the finishing process. This gives an appreciation of what is required of the role but is not an extensive list of duties. A willingness to assist in other areas of production is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Cutting the woven cloth to create hand cut fringes
Follow SOPs, PIRs, tech packs to ensure accuracy
Working to department capacity and targets
Working to a high-quality standard
Handle fabric and materials carefully to minimize waste or damage
Follow health and safety and workplace regulations at all times.
Work collaboratively with team members and respond to instructions promptly
Conduct general housekeeping, keeping areas clean & tidy

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
Good hand eye coordination
Able to lift light materials and work in a factory environment

Monday to Thursday 07.30am – 16.30pm and Friday 07.30am – 12.30pm
