Full job description

New venue in Prestwick - The Vintage

We are a brand new venue with a whole new kitchen and team. Covers around 60 inside and 40 in a beer garden. Brand new menu with potential opportunity for collaboration with head chef.

Start datewould be week commencing 25th May. Working alongside head and sous chef covering holidays, days off and busy periods.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing up and sanitising work surfaces
Monitor stock levels
Serve dishes promptly and professionally, ensuring presentation meets quality standards

Requirements

Experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Previous restaurant experience is needed
Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, evenings, or public holidays as required
