Full job description

About The Role:

Synergize delivers responsive maintenance and project works across MOD housing estates throughout London and Kent. We are seeking skilled and dedicated Electricians to join our growing team.

In this role, you will provide a high-quality, customer-focused service within occupied domestic properties. Working as a mobile engineer, you will carry out reactive maintenance, electrical testing, condition reports, and minor installation works. All tasks are managed via a tablet system to ensure efficient scheduling and accurate certification.

A company vehicle and materials are provided to support a first-time fix approach wherever possible.

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (Mon–Fri) + on-call rota

Carry out responsive maintenance and day-to-day electrical repairs

Complete testing and certification in line with current regulations

Undertake Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)

Perform periodic testing (monthly and annual)

Carry out minor installation works within domestic properties

Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical appliances (e.g. cookers, showers, fireplaces)

Work independently as a mobile engineer across multiple sites

Conduct weekly vehicle checks to ensure safety and roadworthiness

Use company tablets in accordance with policies and procedures

Promote a strong customer-first culture aligned with “Families First”

Maintain and promote high Health & Safety standards at all times

About You:

Proven experience as a domestic electrician, ideally within housing maintenance

Strong ability to manage workload and meet deadlines

Competent in electrical testing and completing certification

Good problem-solving and organisational skills

Positive, proactive attitude with strong customer service skills

Essential Qualifications & Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations

AM2 qualification

18th Edition (BS7671)

2391 or 2395 Testing & Inspection

ECS Card (Installation Electrician minimum)

Full UK Driving Licence

Willingness to undergo security clearance
