Grodzinski Bakery is seeking an exceptional and highly experienced Senior Pastry Baker / Pastry Chef to join our bakery team in Stamford Hill.

This is not a junior position. We are seeking a confident and accomplished baker who can demonstrate a high level of technical skill, creativity, leadership, and a genuine passion for the pastry industry.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have substantial experience working in a professional bakery, patisserie, or pastry kitchen
- Possess excellent knowledge of traditional and modern pastry techniques
- Be capable of producing premium pastries to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Bring creativity, innovation, and fresh ideas to our product range
- Take ownership of their work and consistently maintain exceptional standards
- Thrive in a fast-paced production environment
- Be a team player with strong communication and leadership skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing a wide range of high-quality pastries, viennoiserie, cakes, and specialty bakery products
- Maintaining consistency, quality, and efficiency across all pastry production
- Developing and introducing new products, recipes, and seasonal ranges
- Contributing to menu and product innovation
- Training and supporting junior members of the bakery team where required
- Ensuring full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Managing production schedules and helping achieve daily operational targets
Essential Requirements:
- Proven professional experience as a Pastry Baker, Pastry Chef, or similar role
- Exceptional pastry skills and strong technical knowledge
- A portfolio or evidence of previous work demonstrating your capabilities
- Ability to create, develop, and execute your own original recipes
- Willingness to undertake a practical skills assessment and baking trial as part of the recruitment process
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
- A genuine passion for excellence in pastry and baking
