Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Food Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary and customer service skills within a dynamic restaurant environment. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. The Food Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This position is suitable for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, customer-focused roles.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
Serve dishes promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Ensure food safety protocols are adhered to at all times, including proper handling and storage of food items
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with health regulations
Manage guest queries efficiently, providing excellent guest services to foster repeat business
Handle payments accurately using the POS system and provide appropriate change or receipts

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key
Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour towards guests
Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required
