About us

Y Bryncynan is a warm, lively pub at the heart of the Llŷn Peninsula — loved by the local Welsh community and visitors alike. We're known for being friendly, fun, and genuinely welcoming, and we take real pride in what we put on the plate. Our food is freshly made, locally sourced, and done properly — great quality pub food at its best.

We've got a solid team around us and we're looking for the right people to add to it for our busy summer period. About the role

Whether you're an experienced hospitality professional or someone who's never worked a shift in a pub but has bags of personality and a genuine willingness to learn — we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

Working the bar and floor, delivering food and drinks to a high standard
Building a genuine rapport with guests — recommending dishes, suggesting drinks, making people feel looked after
Keeping your section clean, organised, and running smoothly throughout service
Handling payments accurately and efficiently
Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Helping to maintain stock levels and flag anything that's running low

What we're looking for

A natural people person — friendly, warm, and confident talking to anyone
Someone who thrives when it's busy and keeps their head when the pressure's on
A genuine team player who looks out for their colleagues as much as their guests
Previous bar or restaurant experience is a bonus, but not a deal breaker — we'll train the right person
Basic awareness of food safety practices is helpful
Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
