Full job description

About the Role

We are seeking a veteran to speak with fellow veterans and conduct structured eligibility questionnaires primarily relating to potential noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) claims, including other military claim types. The successful candidate will use their military experience and understanding of service life to build rapport, gather accurate information, and assess whether individuals may qualify for further review by claims specialists.

Applicants must be within 20 miles of the office location, which is based in Rossendale, Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities

Contact veterans by telephone or other company approved communication channels.
Meet agreed quality, productivity, and compliance targets
Conduct structured eligibility questionnaires relating to potential military claims.
Build trust and rapport with veterans while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach.
Gather detailed information regarding military service, occupational duties, exposure to noise, hearing-related symptoms, and relevant medical history.
Accurately record responses within the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Explain the next stages of the claims assessment process in a clear and compliant manner.
Identify potentially eligible claimants and send cases to the appropriate law firms for further review.
Ensure all interactions comply with data protection, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism throughout the claimant journey.

Essential Requirements

Military veteran with a good understanding of Armed Forces culture and service environments.
At least 5 years of military service with operational experience.
Excellent communication and active listening skills.
Ability to engage with individuals from diverse military backgrounds.

Desirable Requirements

Previous experience in customer service, call handling, veteran support, claims intake, case management, or recruitment.
Understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements.
Experience using CRM systems.
Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills.
Comfortable discussing potentially sensitive health and service-related matters.
Professional telephone manner and customer-focused approach.
Competent IT skills, including CRM and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
