Full job description

Description

To provide a high level of Event and Marketing administration support to the Student Success team for a wide portfolio of careers events, awards and competitions.

Outcomes

Events and campaigns are delivered successfully

Support the delivery of student events, awards, and competitions.
Help organise logistics and campaign materials for ambassador programmes and student-facing activations.
Liaise with students, universities, societies, and professional organisations to drive attendance and engagement.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure campaign assets, schedules and deliverables are managed effectively.

Systems and processes are accurate and maintained

Maintain campaign trackers, timelines and documentation to support smooth delivery and reporting.
Ensure all administrative processes are completed accurately and on time.

Person Specification

Someone with a confident and professional manner with the ability to communicate at all levels.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work on several projects at once and be able to prioritise.
Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Collaborative, supportive and positive in a fast-paced environment.
Able to pick up new systems and skills with ease.

Work Experience, Knowledge & Skills

Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Confident using tools like Excel and presentation software.
Experience in events, marketing, or student engagement (preferred but not essential)
Prior involvement in University Societies, part-time jobs, or volunteer roles is a bonus

Other Information

6 month fixed term contract starting September 2026
37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm
3-month probationary period
