Catering Assistant Role

We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our existing team within the sandwich preparation section of our busy kitchen. The successful candidate will assist in preparing fresh sandwich platters, salads, and similar food items to a high standard for our customers.

This role is within a fast-paced kitchen environment, and the ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about quality food and presentation. An immediate start is available.

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous kitchen experience (essential)
Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate (desirable, but training can be provided)
Allergen Awareness knowledge and certification
The ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication skills
Reliability and punctuality for early morning starts
A passion for preparing and presenting quality food
The ability to work effectively as part of a team

We have a positive outlook, work collaboratively as a team, and are enthusiastic about what we do. The successful candidate will be able to thrive and develop within the role.

Working Hours

Part-time, 30 hours per week
Monday to Friday
Hours worked across all five working days
Shifts varying between 06:00 and 16:00
This is not a term-time only position
Immediate start available

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £13.10 per hour
