At Infinitesima, we're developing advanced nanometrology systems that enable the next generation of semiconductor innovation. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to lead the flow of materials, components and information across our global supply chain.
This is a hands-on role that blends strategic planning with operational delivery. You'll work across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Stores and Finance to ensure materials are available when needed, suppliers are performing, shipments move efficiently and supply chain risks are identified before they impact the business.

What You'll Be Doing
Owning Supply Chain Planning & Material Availability
You'll play a central role in ensuring our production and project teams have the materials they need to succeed by:
- Managing end-to-end supply chain and logistics activities across suppliers, production and customer delivery
- Reviewing MRP outputs, supplier schedules, material shortages and inventory levels
- Identifying supply risks and implementing recovery plans before they impact operations
- Maintaining accurate forecasts, material plans and delivery schedules
- Providing clear updates to stakeholders on risks, constraints and supply status
- Developing and monitoring KPIs to measure supply chain performance and drive improvement
Managing Suppliers & Commercial Performance
You'll build strong relationships with suppliers while ensuring cost, quality and delivery expectations are consistently achieved.
This includes:
- Negotiating pricing, lead times, payment terms and commercial agreements
- Monitoring supplier performance and leading regular business reviews
- Managing supplier escalations and driving corrective actions where required
- Supporting supplier audits, development activities and improvement initiatives
- Developing alternative sourcing strategies to reduce risk and improve resilience
- Working closely with Quality and Engineering teams to resolve supplier-related issues
Optimising Inventory & Materials Management
You'll help ensure inventory is positioned effectively to support business objectives by:
- Managing stock levels, reorder points and inventory strategies
- Balancing material availability with working capital requirements
- Maintaining accurate ERP and MRP data
- Monitoring inventory performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Aligning material availability with manufacturing and project priorities
Leading Logistics & International Shipping
Working with freight providers and logistics partners, you'll:
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments
- Ensure import and export activities are compliant and efficient
- Manage customs, freight and transportation requirements
- Monitor shipment performance and resolve delivery issues proactively
- Balance service levels, cost and delivery schedules across global logistics activities
Driving Improvement Across the Business
You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to:
- Support new product introduction and scaling activities
- Lead supply chain escalations and recovery plans
- Improve supply chain processes, systems and reporting
- Identify opportunities to reduce cost, shorten lead times and improve operational performance
- Build stronger visibility across the end-to-end supply chain
What We're Looking For
- At least five years' experience in supply chain, procurement, materials management or logistics within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of MRP, production planning, inventory control and purchasing processes
- Experience using ERP or MRP systems to manage material demand and supply
- Proven supplier management and commercial negotiation experience
- Experience coordinating domestic and international logistics activities
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decisions
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach
Bonus Points For
- Experience within semiconductor, scientific instrumentation, electronics, aerospace or other high-tech manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of import/export regulations, customs processes and international trade compliance
- Experience leading supplier audits and supplier development programmes
- Experience supporting new product introduction and manufacturing scale-up activities
- Familiarity with quality systems, supplier corrective actions and engineering change processes
- Previous team leadership or people management experience
- CIPS, CILT or a similar professional qualification
