Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, managing access control, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a confident presence, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. Prior experience in security or surveillance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Monitor entrances and exits to control access and prevent unauthorised entry
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards
Manage crowd control during events or busy periods with professionalism and tact
Implement loss prevention strategies by recognising suspicious behaviour and acting accordingly
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary
Maintain detailed logs of incidents, visitor numbers, and any security concerns
Enforce venue policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and company standards
Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors courteously and professionally

Experience

Previous experience in security is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
First aid certification is mandatory; additional training can be offered for suitable candidates
Strong observational skills with an eye for detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and confidently
Ability to remain organised under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanour

Pay: £15.00 per hour
