Want to be part of our community? We’re currently recruiting for a Project Surveyor to join our Asset Management Team.

What you’ll achieve in the role:

As Project Surveyor, you'll play a key role in delivering Raven's planned investment and capital works programmes, helping to maintain and improve our homes while ensuring excellent outcomes for customers. You'll manage a range of projects, including kitchen and bathroom replacements, roofing schemes, external decoration programmes, major works projects and property improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

Procuring and managing contracts, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Undertaking and overseeing surveys, inspections, validation checks and post-inspections to support effective asset management.
Managing contractor performance, reviewing valuations and variations, and maintaining strong cost control throughout project lifecycles.
Working closely with tenants, leaseholders, contractors and colleagues to ensure excellent customer communication and satisfaction throughout programmes of work.
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, including CDM Regulations, Building Safety requirements and Section 20 consultation obligations.
Maintaining accurate records and supporting audits, compliance reporting and continuous service improvement initiatives

What you’ll bring to Raven:

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

Experience delivering capital works, planned maintenance, refurbishment or property investment projects, including contract administration and contractor management.
Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, building pathology, health and safety legislation and planned maintenance processes.
Experience carrying out property inspections, condition surveys and stock assessments, with the ability to identify and specify remedial works.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with residents, leaseholders, contractors and internal teams.
Strong organisational, project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
A relevant technical qualification in construction, building surveying, property management or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
