Full job description

Finished school/college for the summer & looking for a summer job? Immediate starts available!

The Land's End Coffee company is looking for two enthusiastic, reliable and efficient KP/Food Runners to join our team at Tehidy Woods Cafe for the summer. Our ideal candidates will be available to pick up shifts throughout the week as needed, including weekends.

These roles will end at the beginning of September 2026, however there is the potential for them to become permanent for the right candidates.

When applying, please specify which days of the week you would be available to work consistently each week & when you would be available to start work.

We are ideally looking for someone with immediate availability,.

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be 16 or older to apply and pay will be in-line with minimum wage for the successful candidate's age.

As a KP/Food Runner, your role will include the following tasks:

Working at pace to keep the KP/dishwasher area clean & organised.
Running coffees & prepared food from the kitchen to customers, providing friendly & welcoming service.
Supporting the team in maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.
Performing daily cleaning & organisation tasks in the kitchen, including clearing and cleaning tables.
Helping with inventory checks & stocking as needed.
Supporting the kitchen team with simple food preparation tasks.

We are looking for someone who:

Is friendly, confident & hard working; we're a busy cafe, so you'll need to be prepared to give your very best
Is able to listen & follow instructions well
Is reliable & works well as part of a team
Has an attention to detail & great communication skills

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
