Job Overview
The Manor Grill is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Seasonal Food and Beverage Manager to oversee daily operations during the busy season. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service standards, managing food and beverage offerings, and leading the team to deliver a memorable dining experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality, culinary arts, and team leadership to contribute to a renowned establishment. The position is paid and suitable for someone with relevant management and restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all food and beverage service activities to ensure high-quality customer experiences
Oversee food production, preparation, and presentation in accordance with safety standards and company policies
Manage daily operations including staff scheduling, training, and performance monitoring
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen and service areas
Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service, addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
Assist in menu planning, stock control, and inventory management to optimise resources
Support the team in serving guests efficiently, including barista duties when required
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement

Experience

Proven management experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably in a supervisory role
Extensive background in food production, cooking, food preparation, and serving
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen management
Experience supervising staff, organising shifts, and maintaining high service standards
Familiarity with culinary techniques, restaurant operations, and hospitality principles
Barista experience is desirable but not essential; however, familiarity with coffee preparation is advantageous
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously
