Role overview

Job title: Part-time Marketing Assistant for My Gathering Ltd - https://reeveevents.co.uk and https://my-gathering.co.uk/
Hours: Up to 5 hours per week (flexible) - Could be more due to other bussness we run.
Location: Remote with occasional in-person meetings (London / [add your area])
Pay: £15.00 – £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Employment: Self-employed (invoice us) or on payroll (PAYE)

What you’ll do

Plan, create and schedule content for Facebook and Instagram for our coffee shop and wedding catering.
Set up, manage and optimise Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns (Meta Ads Manager).
Set up, manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns (search and basic display) focused on lead generation and bookings.
Monitor performance and suggest improvements based on key metrics (clicks, CTR, cost per lead, basic ROAS).
Work with the owner to plan simple monthly campaigns (promotions, events, wedding season pushes).

What we’re looking for

Proven experience running Facebook and Instagram campaigns (organic content and paid ads). This is essential, not a training role.
Proven experience running and optimising Google Ads campaigns.
Good understanding of targeting, audiences, basic funnels and how to write ad copy that converts.
Comfortable working independently for a very small number of focused hours each week.
Strong written English and attention to detail.

Nice to have (not essential):

Experience with hospitality, coffee shops, weddings or events.
Basic design skills in Canva or similar for creating simple social graphics.

Hours, pay and contract

Up to 5 hours per week, with flexibility on when the hours are worked.
£15.00 – £20.00 per hour depending on experience and results.
Engagement can be either:
Self-employed (you invoice us and handle your own tax/NI), or
Employed on our books (PAYE) in line with UK employment law.
