Do you enjoy building relationships, understanding how businesses work and turning great conversations into long-term customers?

Cymphony is looking for a commercially minded Sales Executive to help drive our next phase of growth across our Telephone Answering, Lead Capture, Managed Live Chat and AI Receptionist services.

This is a relationship-led B2B sales role where you'll speak directly with business owners and decision makers, understand the challenges they're trying to solve and help them find the right solution.

You'll work with a growing flow of inbound sales enquiries, managing opportunities from initial conversation through to close. You'll also proactively develop opportunities through follow-up of previous enquiries, existing pipeline and targeted business development activity.

We're not looking for someone who simply follows a sales script. The businesses we work with are trusting Cymphony to represent them and communicate with their customers, so the ability to build genuine rapport, listen, ask the right questions and inspire confidence is fundamental to the role.

What you'll be doing:

Responding quickly and professionally to inbound sales enquiries.
Speaking directly with business owners and decision makers to understand their requirements.
Qualifying opportunities and recommending the right Cymphony services.
Managing prospects and opportunities from initial enquiry through to close.
Maintaining an organised and accurate sales pipeline.
Following up previous enquiries, historic leads and open opportunities.
Proactively developing new opportunities through telephone, email, LinkedIn and other channels.
Supporting new customers through onboarding and the early stages of their relationship with Cymphony.
Identifying opportunities to introduce additional services to new and existing customers.
Working closely with colleagues across sales, marketing, client care and operations to deliver a great customer experience.

What we're looking for:

We're open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, but you should have experience within B2B sales, account management or another commercially focused role where you've been responsible for developing customer relationships and influencing commercial outcomes.

You'll be:

A confident, warm and professional communicator.
Comfortable speaking with business owners and senior decision makers.
Naturally personable and able to build rapport quickly.
Commercially curious and interested in understanding how different businesses operate.
Comfortable asking questions, identifying needs and recommending solutions.
Organised and capable of managing multiple opportunities and follow-ups.
Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of your results.
Confident using CRM systems and digital communication tools.
Comfortable balancing inbound opportunities with proactive business development activity.

Previous B2B sales or account management experience is strongly preferred. Experience within business services, technology, telecommunications, SaaS or other recurring-revenue environments would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
