Full job description

Chassis Cab is a family run business that holds the award winning DAF Truck franchise for East Anglia.

Chassis Cab provides our customers with a first class reliable service of DAF and All Makes HGV parts. This is made possible due to our extensive range of DAF and All Makes parts stock totalling more than £3 million across our business.

We continue to enjoy growth in our parts business through our one stop shop mentality as well as growing sustainable relationships with new and existing customer.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Parts Manager at our Ipswich Branch . The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate who will be a great addition to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to the General Parts Manager in day to day operations.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with employees, customers, and suppliers.
Drive parts sales growth across both retail and workshop customer bases.
Communicate regularly with Parts sales Manager & OSS teams to develop sales opportunities.
Prepare and manage customer quotations accurately and efficiently.
Oversee process management to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Manage stock levels effectively to meet demand and reduce shortages.
Monitor and control purchasing activities within budgetary guidelines.
Track and review KPI reports, performance and follow up on action items.
Attend internal and external meetings as required.
Provide expert product advice and guidance to customers and colleagues.
Deliver consistently high levels of customer service.
Purchase and manage departmental inventory to support business needs & growth.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, start times to be discussed at interview stage

The Requirements:

Self motivated with a proactive, sales focused and can-do attitude,
Previous experience within a Senior Parts Role
Computer literate - Microsoft apps experience required
Ability to adapt and embrace new processes & dealer programmes
Meticulous attention to detail
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Experience with Keyloop/ CDK systems is desirable
Keen interest and knowledge of the motor industry
Full clean driving licence.
