Project Support Officer

About the Role:
This role will provide key administrative, governance, reporting, and coordination support across project teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, document management, and programme support activities are delivered efficiently and to agreed deadlines.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting project delivery, maintaining governance processes, and ensuring accurate management of project information across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain SharePoint and Teams sites, ensuring file structures, document control, and naming conventions comply with company policy.
- Manage the team mailbox, coordinating responses and distributing key communications to internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate governance meetings, including preparing and circulating documentation, recording actions and decisions, and tracking follow-up activities.
- Support the development of project trackers, reporting dashboards, briefing packs, process diagrams, and organisational charts.
- Provide administrative and coordination support across key project activities and workstreams.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with project teams, colleagues, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Correspond with stakeholders to issue, request, and collate project information as required.
- Provide progress updates and reporting information to relevant meetings and stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of project coordination and reporting processes.
Key Requirements:
Essential:
- SC Cleared or eligible to obtain SC Clearance.
- Sole British National.
- Previous experience in a project support, project coordination, or PMO role.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 packages including Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Excel.
Desirable:
- Experience working within highly regulated industries.
- Experience with risk analysis and risk management processes.
- Previous experience supporting large-scale infrastructure or engineering programmes.
