Overview
We are seeking a versatile and skilled professional to join our team in the role of a Carpenter. This position involves a range of hands-on tasks across various construction and refurbishment projects throughout the South Wales Area, requiring a proactive approach and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, including carpentry and experience with hand and power tools. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to apply their technical expertise in a dynamic environment, contributing to both commercial and residential projects. Rate is negotiable depending on experience and skill set.

Responsibilities

Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
Perform carpentry work such as framing, fitting, and finishing carpentry tasks.
Handle heavy lifting safely when moving materials or equipment across sites.
Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of materials or personnel as required.
Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment on all projects.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within deadlines.

Experience

Proven experience in carpentry is highly desirable.
Familiarity with using hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, and drills.
Competence in operating power tools safely and effectively.
Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction or maintenance tasks.
Prior exposure to working on construction sites or similar environments preferred. This role offers an engaging environment for skilled professionals eager to develop their expertise across multiple disciplines within the construction industry.

Pay: From £18.00 per hour
