Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented housekeeper/cleaner to join our team at the Afan Mountain Lodge. Your role will involve maintaining and setting up rooms in our busy hotel areas as well as keeping the communal hotel areas organising and clean. The hours will be between 11-3 but this can be further discussed on interview.

Responsibilities

Clean and prepare guest rooms to the highest standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, ironing and sanitising bathrooms.
Replace used towels, toiletries, and other amenities, ensuring rooms are fully stocked for the next guest.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the housekeeping supervisor.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used safely and stored properly.
Follow health, safety, and hygiene guidelines to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
Assist with cleaning public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and lounges when required.

What You'll Bring

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
The ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
Good time management skills to complete tasks within set timeframes.
A friendly, professional attitude when interacting with guests and colleagues.
Physical stamina to handle the demands of the role, including standing, bending, and lifting.
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage, but not essential—we provide full training.

Pay: £12.21-£17.75 per hour
