Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and culinary arts, with a focus on delivering high-quality meals in a friendly and efficient manner. Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to specified recipes and standards
Assist in meal planning and portion control to ensure consistency and quality
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure ingredients are fresh and available
Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including proper food handling and hygiene practices
Support the team during busy periods, ensuring timely service and customer satisfaction
Assist with basic food presentation to enhance visual appeal of dishes served

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Experience in meal preparation for diverse dietary requirements is desirable
Previous restaurant or catering experience is advantageous but not essential
Serving experience is a plus, demonstrating customer service skills in a food service setting
