ApproCare are seeking a Field Care Supervisor to join our busy fast paced Community Care Management team covering Sheppey and Sittingbourne (Our office is based in Bluetown, Sheerness).

ApproCare is a leading Care Provider of adult home care covering Sheppey & Sittingbourne, founded in 2013.

Requirements

All candidates must have a minimum of 6 months care experience ideally in Community Care.
All candidates must have certification of Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
40 hours average per week. Monday to Friday and every other weekend. The role will be 50% office based, 50% community based (including care visits) and may include a mix of mornings and evenings as necessary.
Ability to cope with a busy and demanding role, involving telephone/email or in person contact with Community Care workers, Clients and Health Professionals.
Candidates MUST be a driver with their own vehicle.
Candidates MUST be willing and able to assist in covering care calls in cases of urgent need.
Candidates MUST have a compatible Smartphone to use our staff app.
Candidates MUST have excellent computer skills - The ability to use email, Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel.
Candidates MUST have an excellent telephone manner.
Candidates MUST have excellent English (both spoken & written).

Job Title: Field Care Supervisor

Salary: £26,936 basic pay + weekend enhancement + on call bonus + overtime opportunities = CIRCA £29,213.60

Job Type: Full Time/Permanent

Reportable to: Registered Manager

This role will mostly consist of

Conducting new client care plans and risk assessments as well as regular reviews of existing client care plans. - Full training given.

However other duties include:

To carry out introductory visits when a Community Carer visits a new Client for the first time.
To hold the out of hours mobile phone on a rota basis as instructed by the Registered Manager
To cover care visits as per rota, when necessary and in cases of urgent need
Communicating effectively with the Registered Manager and other professionals with regard to Clients
Communicating effectively with Office and Community staff members of ApproCare
General office duties including maintenance of client files and dealing effectively with telephone and email enquiries
Assist Registered Manager to deal effectively and efficiently with any concerns that may arise from clients or staff.

This role would ideally suit an experienced Carer/Senior Carer wishing to progress and further develop their skills and knowledge in the Care industry. As a guideline, this role is 50% an administrative role and 50% community based.

The applicant must be willing and able to assist with covering care work as per schedule and in the event of urgent need. Hours of work will typically be Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm & every other weekend as necessary. Some degree of flexibility may be expected in accordance with client need.

Applicants MUST be locally based to Isle of Sheppey / Sittingbourne area, as well as a driver with a full UK driving licence.
