JACKSON'S HUB LTD IS A PRIVATE MORTUARY BASED IN STROOD.

WE HAVE A VACANCY FOR SOMEONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN A CAREER WORKING ALONGSIDE A GREAT TEAM CARRYING OUT REMOVALS AND TRANSFERS FOR HM CORONERS AND TO JOIN A GROUP THAT ARE IN A VERY PRIVILEGED POSITION TO HELP FAMILIES AND THE POLICE AMONG OTHERS

ALL WE ASK IS THAT YOU HAVE A CLEAN DRIVING LICENCE TO DRIVE ONE OF OUR 10 FULLY EQUIPPED PRIVATE AMBULANCES AND CONSIDER YOURSELF FIT ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO LIFT, OFTEN HEAVY WEIGHTS, FOR A SHORT DISTANCE. THIS IS ALL PART OF A CREW AND NEVER A LONE TASK. THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF OUR JOB IS TO SHOW CARE, RESPECT AND DIGNITY FOR THE DECEASED THAT WE COME INTO CONTACT WITH. ALL TRAINING IS GIVEN AT YOUR PACE

IT IS A VERY REWARDING CAREER AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK ALONGSIDE GREAT PEOPLE AND EXPERIENCING EVENTS THAT ARE RARELY SEEN IN OTHER JOBS.

THE DUTIES INVOLVE :

DAILY MORTUARY CARE OF THE DECEASED. ENABLING YOU TO LEARN HOW BEST TO LOOK AFTER A DECEASED.
RESPONDING TO SUDDEN DEATHS IN THE COMMUNITY AT THE REQUEST OF THE POLICE.
TRANSFERS ALL AROUND THE SOUTH-EAST FROM HOSPITALS AND UNDERTAKERS PREMISES
OUT OF HOURS ON-CALL ROTA - YOUR WEEK ON CALL WILL COVER A VARIETY OF AREAS WITH AN ON CALL (VERY EXPERIENCED) PARTNER. EACH JOB OUT OF HOURS WILL BE PAID A SET FEE. THIS ENABLES STAFF TO DOUBLE THEIR ANNUAL SALARY. ALWAYS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY OF EXTRA HOURS IF WANTED
LEARNING HOW TO PREPARE AND DRESS A DECEASED PERSON IN OUR CARE BEFORE TRANSFERRING THEM TO FUNERAL DIRECTORS
WORKING AS PART OF A 2-MAN CREW AND LEARNING ON THE JOB
MORTUARY CLEANING DUTIES
VEHICLE CARE AND MAINTENANCE

BE FRIENDLY, RESPECTFUL AND EAGER TO LEARN.
