Job Title: Strategic Partnership Manager

Location: Regional – Full-time.
Salary: £53,000 per annum + Business Benefits & Bonuses
Hours: 40 hours per week | Permanent

As a Strategic Partnership Manager, you will drive growth and expand our presence within the rail, roads, highways and utilities sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of these industries, a proven track record in building Strategic Partnerships, and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

Key responsibilities include:

Market Analysis and Strategy Development:

Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities within the rail sector.
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and market growth.
Analyse competitor activities and industry trends to position the company effectively.

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

Identify and engage with potential clients in the rail sector, including rail operators, contractors, and project managers.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and requirements.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business deals.

Proposal and Contract Management:

Prepare detailed proposals and quotations tailored to the specific needs of clients.
Negotiate contract terms and conditions in line with company policies and client requirements.
Ensure all contractual agreements are documented and followed through to completion.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with the operations, logistics, and product development teams to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of projects.
Provide market feedback and insights to support continuous improvement and innovation in product offerings.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

Track and report on business development activities, pipeline status, and sales performance.
Use CRM tools to manage client information and sales activities.
Regularly review and analyse sales data to refine strategies and improve performance

Essential skills & experience:

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience within the sales sector.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong understanding of the rail industry, including key players, trends, and regulations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Highly motivated, self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities.
