Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Hotel Manager to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this pivotal role, you will support the overall operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth daily functions. Your leadership will inspire staff, uphold service standards, and foster a welcoming environment for guests from diverse backgrounds. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality career while making a positive impact on our guests’ stays. Dealing with back office operations such as rota, supplier invoicing.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily hotel operations, ensuring all departments work cohesively to deliver outstanding guest service
Supervise and motivate team members, providing guidance and support to uphold high standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction
Oversee guest services, resolving issues promptly and professionally to enhance the guest experience
Coordinate with human resources on staffing needs, training programs, and employee development initiatives
Monitor hotel facilities and ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are consistently met
Support the implementation of hotel policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

Skills

Ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests and staff
Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel industry
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively
Excellent guest service skills with a focus on exceeding expectations
Knowledge of human resources practices related to staffing, training, and employee relations
Solid understanding of hospitality operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, and food & beverage services
Exceptional communication skills to liaise with guests, staff, and management confidently
