We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator to join our production team in Ross-on-Wye. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced welder who takes pride in producing high-quality work and is looking to develop their career within a successful and forward-thinking company.

The Role

Working primarily with stainless steel, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality fabricated assemblies to exacting standards. The successful candidate will be able to work from engineering drawings, maintain excellent attention to detail, and consistently produce high-standard welds.

Key Responsibilities

TIG welding of stainless steel (typically 1-4 mm) to a very high standard.
A good eye for attention to detail
Fabricating and assembling stainless steel products from engineering drawings
Picking and preparing kits of parts from stores
Inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards are met
Working independently and efficiently following initial training
Maintaining a safe and organised environment

Essential:

Minimum 2 years' experience TIG welding thin-gauge stainless steel (1–4mm)
Proven ability to produce high-quality, aesthetically pleasing welds
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Good fabrication and assembly skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Desirable:

Experience with robotic welding systems
Previous experience within a manufacturing environment

In return we offer a competitive salary £36,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience. Ongoing training and development.
