Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Part Time Hotel Receptionist & Social Media Content Creator to join our team. This dual role combines front desk responsibilities with creative social media management, offering an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and digital marketing. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage guest enquiries via phone, email, and in person, ensuring excellent phone etiquette and guest satisfaction
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently using hotel management software
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to guests
- Maintain a professional appearance at the reception desk at all times
- Create engaging content for social media platforms including photos, videos, and posts that highlight the hotel’s features and events
- Monitor social media channels regularly to respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a courteous manner
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that increase online visibility and engagement
- Assist with organising promotional events or special offers as required
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok; experience in content creation is advantageous
- Good phone etiquette with clear communication skills
- Creative flair for producing appealing visual content for social media channels
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Organised, proactive, and adaptable attitude towards work responsibilities
