Homelife Care is an innovative in-home care provider improving care for both service users and caregivers alike.

We currently operate in Crowborough and surrounding areas in East Sussex.

This role will largely entail being the field care supervisor adding to the team.

Salary/Remuneration: Inclusive of all elements of role, based on FTE - part-time will be proportionally adjusted.

Description:

Field Care Supervisors are responsible for the efficient running of their own specific, defined area and should vary their hours of work in order to effectively monitor and support all care workers and clients.

The aim of the position is to lead a team of Care Assistants to help enable clients to remain in their own home surrounded by their memories with as much independence as possible. Providing a person-centred approach to the care and support that we provide, ensuring their views, wishes, religious beliefs, goals and aspirations are at the heart of everything you do.

Alongside ensuring, through regular communication, review and continuous monitoring, that care, and support is provided at all times in a professional, discreet and caring manner, always ensure all service users maintain the right to privacy and dignity.

As a Field care Supervisor, your role will include the following duties:

To carry out Individual Needs Assessments for new and potential clients.
To conduct risk assessments as part of the Individual Needs Assessment and update these as required as part of the individual’s risk management.
To carry out introductory visits every time a Caregivers visits a client for the first time.
To ensure all client visits are always covered.
To be on-call in case of emergency on rotation with other FCS and Manager.
To liaise closely with Care Coordinators regarding recruitment, permanent allocation of Caregivers and the writing of Care & Support Agreements.
To identify suitable Caregivers to cover for any absences, this may be due to sickness or holiday.
To allocate suitable alternative Caregivers when an existing Caregivers notifies that they are unable to attend a call.
To facilitate the practical induction of all new Caregivers.
To provide and facilitate in-field training as and when appropriate.
To identify any additional training needs of Caregivers and report accordingly.
To conduct client reviews and respond to Individual Review Forms completed by Caregivers as soon as possible.
To urgently report any changes in a Caregivers or client’s schedule to the Care Coordinator.
To monitor, supervise and mentor all Caregivers in the field.
To provide support to all Caregivers in the field.
To monitor all clients for service and Caregivers satisfaction.
To ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation held in client’s homes.
To encourage and identify opportunities for Caregivers continuing professional development.
To ensure that all written reports and administration is up to date.
To maintain close liaison with both the Care Manager and Care Coordinator.
Responsible for implementing field-based quality control systems and providing support to all Caregivers within a defined area.

To maintain close liaison with both the Care Manager and Care Coordinator
Act as a link between the customer and the office
Oversee care quality control.
Monitor and supervise care service.

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
