Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Mortgage Administrator to join our financial services team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting mortgage processing, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to develop within a professional environment, contributing to the smooth operation of our mortgage department. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a keen eye for accuracy and a proactive approach.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and processing of mortgage applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
Liaise with clients, lenders, and internal teams to facilitate smooth communication throughout the mortgage process
Maintain organised records of all transactions and correspondence in accordance with company policies
Verify financial information provided by clients using basic maths skills to ensure accuracy
Monitor application progress and follow up on outstanding documentation or approvals as required
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal procedures at all stages of the mortgage lifecycle
Support senior staff with administrative tasks related to mortgage files, reports, and audits
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client queries promptly and professionally

Qualifications

Previous experience within financial services or a similar administrative role is essential
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Good understanding of basic maths to verify financial data accurately
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in standard office software such as MS Office (Word, Excel)
Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in all work undertaken
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity in all aspects of their work.

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
