Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Boxhype Coach to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding and motivating participants through engaging fitness and boxing coaching sessions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire individuals, promote healthy lifestyles, and develop specialised coaching skills within a supportive environment. The position is paid and suitable for those with a keen interest in fitness, boxing, coaching, and anatomy.

Responsibilities

Lead engaging coaching sessions focused on fitness, boxing, strength, conditioning, and overall well-being.
Develop customised training programmes tailored to individual needs and goals.
Motivate participants to achieve their personal best while maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
Provide instruction on proper techniques, safety procedures, and injury prevention.
Deliver safe and effective boxing instruction, including boxing fundamentals, pad work, punch technique, combinations, footwork, and defensive movements where appropriate.
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to optimise performance.
Foster a supportive environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and personal growth.
Stay informed about the latest coaching techniques, sports science developments, and anatomy knowledge to enhance programme effectiveness.
Maintain a high standard of professionalism, cleanliness, and member engagement within the club.

Qualifications

Level 3 Personal Trainer Qualification (essential).
Proven experience in fitness coaching, personal training, group exercise instruction, or teaching roles.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and biomechanics relevant to fitness training.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants.
Organised, reliable, and able to adapt coaching methods to suit different skill levels.
Passionate about promoting health, fitness, and active lifestyles.
Boxing coaching qualifications and/or practical boxing coaching experience are highly desirable.
Ability to confidently instruct boxing fundamentals, including stance, footwork, pad work, punch technique, combinations, and defensive movements, is highly desirable.
Experience in boxing, martial arts, combat sports, strength and conditioning, or group fitness coaching would be a significant advantage.
Relevant certifications in fitness instruction, coaching, or first aid are desirable.
