Pay Scale: LCC G3 Pro Rata for Hours and Weeks Worked

Contract: Permanent, Part-Time

Working Pattern: 26.25 hours per week, Monday – Friday, term time only

We are a Voluntary Controlled Church of England Primary School situated approximately 4 miles from Lincoln City Centre. We are a popular and successful one-form entry primary school, which serves families from the local village and beyond.

The school has happy pupils who are eager to learn. They show good behaviour and play an important part in school decisions. The staff team are talented, dedicated and provide a highly effective education for our pupils.

We are looking for an experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated EYFS team. A childcare qualification and relevant experience are essential.

The role will include the following:

· Proactively supporting child-led learning.

· Planning and facilitating play-based activities and opportunities.

· Conducting targeted interventions and observations, in line with the EYFS framework.

· Supporting the class teacher with the classroom provision and creating a stimulating environment.

· Working with the whole class, small groups and individual children.

· Building strong relationships with children, staff and parents/carers.

· Any additional tasks as deemed appropriate by the Headteacher and EYFS teacher.

Candidates must:

· Have a deep understanding of child development.

· Be familiar with the EYFS Framework.

· Have a clear understanding of Special Educational needs and inclusive practice.

· Be able to demonstrate effective behaviour management.

· Be proactive and able to use their initiative.

· Have strong communication skills.

· Demonstrate patience and empathy.

· Be reliable and hardworking.

· Be flexible.

· Be kind and caring.

· Enjoy working with children and be willing to have fun!

The successful applicant will be required to work as part of a team and be a good role model, demonstrating and committing to our school vision and values.
